Meet Callie
Callie Burns
Dance Teacher
I am a licensed K-5 educator with a passion for teaching children of all abilities. Through my years in the classroom, I have had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop confidence, creativity, and a love for learning. I strongly believe in the power of the arts to inspire growth and self-expression, and I strive to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and empowered to shine in their own unique way.
With over 20 years of dance experience—including competing, performing, and teaching—I love sharing my passion for movement with students of all skill levels. My goal is to help dancers build not only technical skills but also a sense of joy, resilience, and self-assurance that extends beyond the studio.
I hold a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Human Development from California State Polytechnic University. I am excited to bring my combined experience in education and dance to MOVE Inclusive Dance and be part of such a welcoming and inspiring community.
